Now through February 12, 2012, the DMA highlights one of the most important fashion designers in recent decades with its special exhibition, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk. Making its U.S. debut at the Dallas Museum of Art, this exhibition highlights 130 haute couture dresses, ready-to-wear pieces and their accessories created between the early 1970s and 2011, as well as sketches, stage costumes and 30 animated, talking mannequins, including one of Gaultier himself, that add an extra dimension to the lively atmosphere. Hotel guests can take DART Light Rail via our underground walkway to Union Station and travel three quick stops north to St. Paul station.
